It seems that everyone now days have a weblog so today I decided to install WordPress.
Sao-Miguel
I was born in Sao Miguel, Azores let’s just say a long time ago. Talking about the things I like to do makes direct reference to my current life as I dabble with something I love to do: web development. Here’s the story: I have no degree in anything in particular I am a self taught individual. I started designing pages back in 1996. I am into computers and operate my own servers, Apache server, DNS and Mail server. I developed my web design skills on a personal level. Although I did take an IT specialist course which was a total waste of time and money, they dealt with to much emphasis on java, and php code which I found very difficult, why invent the wheel when it’s already available. I did learn some good web design and usability, from Lanoie hope he doesn’t read this, one of the first thing he dislikes is the Click here term used on web sites, which I have tried to update some of the earlier creations which is an ongoing effort.
Along the years, I built and managed a few websites and learnt from experience pretty much as everyone does. I soon discovered that I liked web design, and what I really like to do is to design and manage. And this is what I mainly focused my learning’s on.
On a more personal level, I am a generally calm (grin) and friendly person, who enjoys listening to good music, watching a good movie, preferably science fiction, being in the company of friends, and, evidently, being online, I detest any all realty shows. I definitely have some geek blood running in my veins and keep thinking that I wish the net had been around when I was a teenager. But then again, don’t we all?
